Situations Where a Cash Sale Makes Sense
A cash sale can make sense if you’re dealing with:
- Foreclosure or time pressure
- Divorce or major life changes
- Inherited or probate properties
- Liens or upside-down mortgages
- Homes needing major repairs or cleanout
- Vacant properties or problem tenants
It doesn’t matter if you live in the home, rent it out, or it’s vacant. Even properties with significant damage from storms, flooding, or deferred maintenance may still qualify.
3-Step Fort Worth Cash Home Buying Process

Step 1
Tell us about your property → Get a fast cash offer in Fort Worth.
You give us a little info on your Fort Worth house and we’ll see if it meets our buying criteria

Step 2
Get your no-obligation as-is cash offer—no repairs needed.
If your house is a match, we’ll give you a fair all-cash offer that you’re under no obligation to accept

Step 3
Pick your close date and walk away with cash in hand.
Have more cash in your pocket in as little as 7 days (depending on title). You won’t wait around for the right buyer to come along
Fort Worth Cash Home Sale FAQs
How fast can you close on a house in Fort Worth?

Do I need to make repairs or clean out the house?
No. Oak Summit Group buys houses as-is, so you do not need to make repairs, updates, or clean out the property. We purchase homes in all conditions, including those with damage, deferred maintenance, or unwanted belongings left behind.
Are you a real estate agent or a direct cash buyer?
We are a direct cash buyer and local Fort Worth real estate investor, not a real estate agent. We buy homes with our own funds, do not list properties on the MLS, and do not charge commissions or require showings.
What fees or commissions do I pay?
You pay no commissions and no hidden fees when selling to Oak Summit Group. We typically cover standard closing costs, and the cash offer you receive is the amount you take to closing. There is no obligation to move forward.
What’s the downside of selling a house for cash?
The main trade-off is that a cash offer is often lower than a full retail listing price. Many sellers choose a cash sale to avoid repairs, agent commissions, long timelines, financing risks, and uncertainty. A cash sale prioritizes speed and certainty over maximum price.

Oak Summit Group: Reviving Fort Worth One Home at a Time
Looking to get out of the 9 to 5 world, I decided to start remodeling homes in my hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. With a passion for Panther City and the people who live here, I wanted to help revive properties and improve our neighborhoods.
I originally started in the Westworth Village area and currently live in my first remodeled property with my wife, Brenda, and our dogs, Kahlua and Roux. I started Oak Summit Group to make that dream a reality.
Oak Summit Group is locally owned and operated, using local resources to help Fort Worth continue to thrive. Brenda, myself, Kahlua, and Roux will be happy to help you with your needs.
Get to Know the Team at Oak Summit Group

CEO
Roger is a DFW resident who founded Oak Summit Group in 2020 and established its headquarters in Fort Worth.
He has a background in hospitality, entrepreneurship, IT, and real estate, and focuses on clear communication and simple closings.
As a homeowner himself, Roger emphasizes maintenance planning and realistic options—especially when speed matters.

Chief Design Officer
Born in California, Brenda has called Tarrant County home for almost thirty years. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, she has dedicated herself to helping others and places a high value on strong customer service.
As a natural creative, her hobbies include knitting, weaving, and crafting. She brings that creative mindset into every project, combining functionality with thoughtful design.
Serving as Oak Summit Group’s Chief Design Officer was a natural fit. One of her key tools is the color wheel, which she uses to guide finish selections and design choices throughout each renovation.

CPA
Bob comes to Oak Summit Group via adoption by Roger and Brenda and serves as the Chief Paws Assistant. He frequently joins Roger on house projects, where his main responsibilities include supervision and finding the best sunny spot for a nap.
His advice to new homeowners with dogs is simple: you can never have too many dog beds. According to Bob, every room is acceptable—as long as there’s a sofa or a bed available.
Bob is a Catahoula mix and proudly resides in Fort Worth, where he continues to support Oak Summit Group one nap at a time.

CPA II
Kahlua is the newest member of Oak Summit Group, having joined the team through adoption by Roger and Brenda. She proudly serves as Chief Paws Assistant II.
A bit more rebellious by nature, Kahlua can usually be found outside playing fetch, digging holes in the backyard, or engaging in a spirited game of tug-of-war.
With help from her brother Bob, Kahlua has quickly advanced in understanding the business. She is a supermutt and happily resides in Fort Worth.
